Itinerary

Day 1

Colombo to Sigiriya

Pickup from Colombo or the airport, drive to Sigiriya with a stop at an elephant orphanage. Evening at leisure near the rock.

Day 2

Sigiriya & Dambulla

Early climb of Sigiriya rock fortress before the heat of the day, followed by the Dambulla cave temple complex in the afternoon.

Day 3

Polonnaruwa & travel to Kandy

Morning cycling tour of the Polonnaruwa ruins, then drive to Kandy with a stop at a spice garden.

Day 4

Kandy & departure

Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and Kandy Lake before drop-off in Kandy or return transfer to Colombo.
